Why You Can't Tell If It's Hormones, Stress,
or Something Else

You’ve done the bloodwork. You’ve tried the protocols. You’ve Googled every combination of symptoms you can construct.

And yet. Something is still off.

The fatigue that doesn’t improve with more sleep. The anxiety that surfaces without a clear trigger. The days where your body feels like it’s receiving a frequency you don’t have a decoder for.

If this is you, you haven’t missed the answer. You’ve been asking the wrong question.

THE SINGLE-FACTOR TRAP

Most health systems are built around a simple premise: find one cause, treat it.

Hormone imbalance? Medicate. Stress? Meditate. Inflammation? Eliminate.

For many people, this single-factor approach is enough. For sensitive bodies, it almost never is.

Why? Because sensitive bodies are not responding to one input at a time. They are responding to everything simultaneously.

WHAT YOUR BODY IS ACTUALLY REGISTERING

Your nervous system, fascia, organs, and bioelectric field are constantly reading and responding to multiple streams of information at once:

Hormonal cycles and fluctuations. Electromagnetic fields from devices, Wi-Fi, and solar activity. Barometric pressure and weather shifts. Emotional environments and other people’s nervous system states. Your own stored history, trauma patterns, and unprocessed energy.

When multiple inputs arrive at the same time, the signal amplifies.

This is what I call the stacking effect. And sensitive bodies feel it first, loudest, and longest.

This is why your symptoms seem to shift constantly. This is why no single protocol ever fully holds. This is why you feel like you’re always catching up with your own body.

YOU’RE NOT BROKEN. YOU’RE MULTI-FACTORIAL.

Here’s the reframe that changes everything:

You are not broken. You are a biological instrument designed to detect subtle, real inputs that most humans are simply not calibrated to feel.

The reason nothing sticks is not because you are failing at healing. It is because you keep applying single-factor tools to a multi-factor system.

That is not a character flaw. That is a mismatch.

THE SHIFT FROM FIXING TO DECODING

What if instead of asking “what’s wrong with me?” you started asking “what’s my body registering right now?”

That shift, from diagnosis to decoding, changes everything about how you interact with your symptoms.

Instead of panic, you get curiosity. Instead of self-blame, you get data. Instead of disconnection, you get partnership with the very body you’ve been fighting against.

Your body hasn’t been malfunctioning. It has been communicating in a language you were never taught to read.

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE

A client came to me after three years of being told her elevated heart rate and hypervigilance were anxiety. She had done everything right: therapy, breathwork, medication, lifestyle changes.

When we started mapping her inputs, the picture was immediate. A G3 geomagnetic storm had arrived the same week as a hormonal drop and a high-stress family event. Her body was doing math. Sophisticated, accurate, real math.

She wasn’t anxious. She was stacked.

Once she had that framework, everything shifted. Not because her symptoms disappeared overnight, but because she stopped interpreting them as failure and started reading them as information.

YOUR NEXT STEP

If this is resonating, the best starting point is understanding your own Cosmic Sensitive Type. The quiz takes less than two minutes and gives you language for what you’ve been feeling

And if you want to go deeper, this week’s Cosmic Body Shenanigans episode walks through the stacking effect in detail, with real examples and a framework you can start using immediately.

About Amanda

Former engineer on several NASA projects turned medical intuitive. I work with female college athletes with gut pain that is taking her out of her sport. Along with the unpredictable pain, she’s struggling with depression and her grades are starting to slip. I can scan her body to see what’s wrong, clarify it for her, map the path forward, and land her back in her best condition, back in her happy life, back in the game.
